A Person With A Disability
Goodwill has experienced staff and extensive knowledge when it comes to placing individuals with disabilities in to competitive employment.

A Family Member/Caregiver
Our primary focus is to help persons to get a job. We offer a number of services to help persons prepare for working, to gain work experience, to gain additional credentials and skill training, and to connect with employers and opportunities that align with their interests and abilities. 

The level of support, work preparation, training and job search assistance varies depending on the needs of the person and whether the person qualifies for specialized programs. For persons with significant needs we also provide ongoing support to help them maintain employment.

We work with persons who have experienced difficulty securing employment. This includes persons with disabilities, older youth, persons with a criminal history, persons with limited work experience and persons with outdated skills.

Our Community Employment Centers offer a wide range of services to job seekers.  Additionally, our Vocational Services offer more intensive and targeted resources for individuals facing obstacles to employment.

A Referral Source
Our primary focus is to help persons to get a job. We offer a number of services to help persons prepare for working, to gain work experience, to gain additional credentials and skill training, and to connect with employers and opportunities that align with their interests and abilities. 

We provide services to a diverse population including but not limited to persons with disabilities, school age youth, older youth, persons with a criminal history, persons receiving government benefits, i.e. TANF, SSI, SSDI, etc., persons with limited work experience and persons with outdated skills.

Goodwill has a vendor relationship with the Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) and some of the local Community Services Boards (CSB). Some services are provided under the Children’s Services Act (CSA). Some programs are grant funded so there are no fees for the referral source or the referral. Other programs are funded by Goodwill through financial donations and revenue from our retail and government contracts operations.
