What is a Community Employment Center?
Goodwill’s Community Employment Centers provide job seekers with the tools they need to gain employment. Goodwill operates five of these centers throughout central and coastal Virginia, each with a team of professionals whose job is to help you find a job.
Our CEC staff are here to help job seekers from beginning to end.

How quickly can I get a job?
When you come in to one of Goodwill’s Community Employment Centers our associates will work with you to assess your skills, interests, and where you are in the job search process and determine the best steps to start you on your career path.
Is transportation or childcare provided?
Four of Goodwill’s Community Employment Centers are conveniently located along public transportation routes (Richmond, Northside, Petersburg, and Hampton). We do not provide direct transportation to job seekers. In addition, Goodwill does not provide childcare in our CECs. If childcare and transportation are obstacles you’re facing in your job search, we can put you in touch with resources to address those needs.
