The following information has been compiled to inform Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia and Goodwill Services, Inc. associates who reside in Virginia how to access information and register for the COVID-19 vaccine if they so choose.
Learn more about the COVID-19 Vaccine, including why it’s important, what to expect and how safe it is.
Pre-register (or confirm your registration if you have already registered) for the vaccine through Virginia Department of Health (VDH).
Be on the lookout for emails from VDH, CDC, VAMS or your local health district. You may also receive a call or text from VDH or your local health district.
As soon as you are eligible for a vaccine, check with local pharmacies including CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, independent pharmacies and those grocery chains who operate pharmacies. Additionally, your primary care provider may be able to administer the vaccine. This may be a faster way for you to receive your vaccine than waiting for a call or email from VDH or your local health district.
After you have received your final dose (second dose with Pfizer or Moderna or first dose with Johnson & Johnson) complete the Wellness Incentive form to receive your $50! (Make sure you hang on to your vaccine card!)
Once you are fully vaccinated you may be anxious to return to normal activities. Make sure you continue to follow all CDC and workplace guidance.
