Kathy Shelton

Vice President , Community Engagement & Real Estate

Since joining Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia in March 2022, Kathy Shelton has  brought a wealth of skill sets, experience, relationships and results.  As Vice President of Community Engagement and Real Estate, Kathy is responsible for real estate procurement and developing meaningful relationships with other agencies, jurisdictions, employers, and others.  In addition, Kathy is responsible for the oversight of the newly-formed Virginia Employment and Training Alliance (“VETA”).

Kathy most recently served as Sr. Director of Business Development for the city of Norfolk having held similar roles in Connecticut and Richmond. She serves on the Norfolk Planning Commission and is Board Chair of the Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk. Kathy resides in Norfolk with her husband while her children attend college at the University of Virginia and William & Mary.
