Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.

Customer Service/Cashier:
Greet each and every customer, making eye contact, when they enter the store, thank each and every customer when they leave the store.
Act courteously and with interest in each customer encounter, provide an outstanding customer experience.
Assist customers in locating and/or selecting merchandise.
Process customer sales transactions quickly and accurately within the cash handling guidelines as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
Assist in stocking the sales floor for fixture fill as directed by store management leadership group.
Maintain sales floor in a clean, neat and orderly fashion, keeping wrap desks free of clutter.
Adhere to uniform dress code standards as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
Fully support all Retail Operations Initiatives ie: “Round Up”

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Able to work as a team member in a fast paced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures.
Communicate effectively and professionally with store management leadership team.
Able to be cross trained in multiple production and customer service positions.
Adhere to Assets Protection control and compliance procedures including safety.
Able to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
Adhere to work schedule.
Able to handle the physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs the Essential Duties as assigned
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Accepts responsibility and accountability for his or her money drawer
  • Addresses customer concerns and issues or escalates them as needed
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner
  • Greets customers and efficiently checks-out and bags purchased items

 

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Professional, customer-friendly demeanor and appearance
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
