Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia (“Goodwill,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is offering a temporary SMS/text messaging service to provide timely updates and information to associates attending the All Associate Event on May 4, 2025. This may include updates related to tickets, transportation, schedules, and other logistical details.

By opting into this service, you agree to the following terms and acknowledge our commitment to protecting your privacy.

    When you opt in to receive event-related messages, we may collect:
  • Your name
  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your assigned store or department
  • Your transportation selection or location preferences (if applicable)

We do not collect or store sensitive personal data (e.g., financial, medical, or social security information) through this service.

    Your phone number and event preferences will only be used for:
  • Sending updates about the May 4, 2025 All Associate Event
  • Communicating time-sensitive logistics (e.g., bus pickup times, ticket availability)

    Message frequency will vary depending on your travel group or event logistics. You can expect 1–5 messages leading up to and on the day of the event.
  3. Message and Data Rates
    Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Goodwill is not responsible for charges incurred by your mobile provider.
  4. Opt-Out
    You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive. After opting out, you will no longer receive updates and may miss important event-related details.
  5. Help/Support
