Governor Champions Re-Entry Support at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia Event

On August 15th, Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia had the honor of hosting Governor Glenn Youngkin, First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin, and the entire Executive branch of the Commonwealth as the governor appealed for local support of the new “Stand Tall – Stay Strong – Succeed Together” Initiative.

We at GCCVA are excited to continue expanding our efforts to improve re-entry success and reduce recidivism for formerly incarcerated Virginians. By building partnerships across the state, we can reach more people, support more families, and help place individuals into meaningful employment.

“We have received many thanks from these leaders and their staff … and are fielding requests for tours and future conversations as we continue to expand employment and training opportunities to individuals with barriers here in the Commonwealth,” Chief Communications Officer Laura Faison said in her thanks to ALL the Support teams who played a role in pulling together the successful event.

Thank you to our Board of Directors and associates for your continued support in advancing our mission and making an impact together!
