Businesses and corporations can support Goodwill’s mission by donating goods that they no longer need, use or house in their facilities. Whether the goal is to downsize or make room for new items, Goodwill can help your transition by providing customized support for your donation efforts.
Becoming a donation partner with Goodwill is:
Cost-effective
Goodwill coordinates and carries out the entire donation process at no cost to the business. Goodwill experts will travel to your location to assess donations, coordinate labor pick-up and provide transportation to move items from your locations.
Environmentally friendly
Goodwill keeps millions of pounds of goods out of local landfills by re-selling items that can be used as furnishings in homes or living spaces.
Goodwill also provide e-recycling services through its nationwide partnership with Dell. Goodwill’s E-Recycling program uses a U.S. Department of Defense-grade program to securely wipe data from devices before they are refurbished and re-sold. Devices that cannot be refurbished are safely broken down and recycled, protecting the environment from potentially harmful metals and chemicals.
Philanthropic
Goodwill is one of the most recognizable and respected brands in the country. Partnering with Goodwill shows your business or corporation’s commitment to job training and workforce development efforts in our community.
Tax deductible
Goodwill is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Businesses and corporations can gain tax advantages by making donations to Goodwill. A formal receipt will be issued upon completion of a donation pick-up.
