Donation Event – Earth Day Recycling Zone, Virginia Beach

Goodwill is accepting housewares, textiles and electronic donations at the Earth Day Recycling Zone event!

*Please note:  Our trailers will not be able to accommodate furniture donations.

Join Goodwill and the City of Virginia Beach at Mt. Trashmore (parking lot next to YMCA) where a recycle zone will be set up for the general public to be able to drop off items such as hazardous household waste, documents for off-site shredding, electronics, old medications, and pills as part of the VB Police Dept. “Prescription Take-Back Program.” In partnership with AAA, car batteries and children automobile safety seats will be available for drop off as well.

When you donate electronics to Goodwill, our E-Recycle stores use a U.S. Department of Defense-grade program on devices to clean hard drives and erase personal and sensitive information.
