Keyboarding I (MEC)

This course is designed to help the student get familiar and comfortable with the use of the computer keyboard.  Students will begin the course by establishing good habits such as good posture, finger/hand positioning, and touch typing basics.  Through the use of a computer program, students will learn the home row keys and complete typing exercises to help increase typing accuracy and speed.  Students determine their progress based on mastery of keys.
