Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia (GCCVA) Receives Three-Year CARF Accreditation for Employment Services

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is proud to announce that we have once again received the CARF International (CARF) Three-Year Accreditation for our community employment services, including employment support, job development and employment planning services. This accreditation, valid through March 31, 2027, is the highest level of accreditation awarded by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), reflecting our dedication to delivering high-quality services that meet CARF’s rigorous standards.

The CARF survey, conducted earlier this year, focused on key service areas, including employment support and job development. This achievement demonstrates our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for those we serve by offering measurable and accountable programs. During the review process, CARF surveyors evaluated our services, personnel and governance standards and recognized Goodwill’s continuous efforts to enhance our programs.

“Achieving CARF accreditation once again is a testament to the hard work and dedication of every Goodwill associate,” said Goodwill CEO Mark Barth. “This recognition underscores our ongoing mission to empower individuals and strengthen our communities through the power of work. We are honored to continue providing essential employment services that positively impact the lives of those we serve.”
