Don’t think of it as a donation…
Think of it as your contribution to empowering individuals and creating prosperous communities through employment.
Job search skills, computer skills training, labor market insights, on-the-job supports, job placement and career pathways– these are just a few of the free services that your donations provide. Your donations matter to the over 2,000 individuals Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia places into jobs in a range of industries every year.
At Goodwill, we appreciate all types of donations, including donated items (gently used goods: clothing and shoes, furniture, housewares and electronics); financial donations; volunteer time. For answers to your questions about donating gently used goods, click here.
Financial donations are critical to funding our job readiness programs, working with individuals with challenges to work and getting them placed into employment. For information about financial giving, please click here.
