October 10, 2025Get ready to kick off the holiday season in style! Join Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia for a Holiday Thrift Pop-Up happening one day only on Saturday, November 8 at our JANAF Goodwill store in Norfolk.
This special event will feature a huge selection of holiday décor, toys, Christmas trees, and festive home goods to help you decorate, celebrate, and spread cheer, all at incredible thrift prices! Whether you’re hunting for unique gifts, seasonal treasures, or creative décor ideas, you’ll find plenty to love at this one-day pop-up.
Photos with Santa will also be available during the event, so bring your family and capture a holiday memory. (10 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm AND 3.30 pm to 5.30pm)

Do I need a ticket to attend?
No tickets are required for entry! The Eventbrite “tickets” simply help us estimate how many people plan to attend so we can prepare accordingly. You’re welcome to join the fun even if you haven’t registered in advance.
What can I expect at the Holiday Thrift Pop-Up?
You’ll find a festive selection of holiday décor, toys, gifts, Christmas trees, and home goods at incredible thrift prices. Whether you’re decorating, gifting, or just getting into the holiday spirit, there’s something for everyone.
Will new items be added throughout the day?
Yes! Our team will be replenishing the sales floor with new merchandise throughout the day. However, all items are sold on a first come, first serve basis, so early shoppers will have the best selection.
Why is this called a “pop-up” if it’s inside an existing Goodwill store?
For one day only, our JANAF Goodwill store will be transformed into a holiday wonderland. We’ve curated an extra-large assortment of holiday décor, toys, and gifts exclusively for this event. Plus, Santa will be on-site for free photos during scheduled times (10-12 pm, 1-3 AND 3.30-5.30). It’s a special celebration for our Virginia Beach thrift community.
Can I take photos with Santa?
Absolutely! Santa will be available for free photos from 10 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 3 pm AND 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Will there be a limit on how many people can enter the store?
To keep everyone safe and comfortable, we may temporarily limit entry if we reach our store’s fire safety capacity. If that happens, guests will be asked to wait until others exit before entering. Our team will work quickly to make sure everyone gets a chance to enjoy the event.
