The Transition to Independence and Employment (TIE) program is dedicated to serving those with obstacles to employment who receive Temporary Aid for Needy Families (TANF) benefits through the Virginia Department of Social Services. The program is designed to move TANF recipients toward personal and economic independence by providing job readiness services and job placement assistance.
