100th Anniversary Associate Appreciation Event - Board and Advisory Board Details

No!  Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is covering the cost of all board and advisory board members who attend the Appreciation Event at the Busch Gardens Globe Theater on Sunday, May 7th.

Yes!  In addition to park admission, board and advisory board members will receive complimentary continental breakfast (fruit, pastries and beverages) as well as a meal voucher for lunch or dinner in the park later in the day!

To receive the meal voucher, you must attend the morning program held at the Globe Theater.  Meal vouchers will be distributed at the close of the program.  (Please note that meal vouchers will be provided for associates, board and advisory board members only, not family members.)

Yes!  Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia has partnered with Busch Gardens to provide reduced-price tickets for family members.

Please note all family members MUST have a paid ticket for admission to the event and theme park.  Board and advisory board members are responsible for printing or showing on their mobile device the purchased ticket.  Goodwill does NOT have access to purchased discount ticket and will not be able to provide access to these the day of the event.

We request that additional tickets for family members be purchased by April 10th so that we have an accurate count of associates, board, advisory board and their guests.  Any family tickets purchased AFTER this date will not be included in the all-associate event and family members will only be allowed to enter the park after it opens at 10:00 a.m. that day.

No!  Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is covering the cost of parking for ONE vehicle per board or advisory board member.  (For example, if you and your family drive separately your family driving separately will need to pay for their own parking.)

Board and advisory board members who have RSVP’d for the event prior to April 10th will be emailed instructions about parking prior to the event.

Yes!  Goodwill operations that are typically open on Sunday (donations at stores and ADC’s) will be closed on Sunday, May 7th, so that all associates have the opportunity to attend this special event.  The MARCOM team will provide signage and online messaging prior to event date to inform donors of this change.
