Virginia Beach man takes action to find family who lost precious memories

Virginia Beach, Va. – A Virginia Beach man is taking action to find a family who lost touch with precious memories.

He recently found some old photographs hidden in a camera case at a Hampton Roads thrift shop.

But with no name or address he`s hoping you may recognize the couple in these pictures.

“Well you can tell they`re in love and it looks like they`ve been together for a long time.”

A precious moment in time – lost.

“They just have that look at each other with connection.”

David Coleman stumbled upon these faded photographs a few weeks ago.

“My wife found it on the shelf down here.”

They were hidden underneath an old Polaroid land camera he bought at the Windsor Woods Goodwill in Virginia Beach.

“It`s complete. Has the old flash cube. It`s a piece of history in a way.”

Inside the case – buried below the owner`s manual – David found another piece of history.

“We lifted up the one down there at the bottom and these two pictures of this couple were in here.”

“It would be great if we could find these people. If not, find the family.”

Now David is asking NewsChannel 3 viewers to take action — and help him get these photos back to the family.
