Goodwill Works to Get Area Residents Working

Goodwill Joins with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer for a Professional Clothing Drive

Richmond, VA – Goodwill and Cushman

& Wakefield | Thalhimer are partnering for their inaugural professional clothing drive. For more than 90 years, Goodwill has helped people in Central Virginia get the job training, support, and opportunities they need to be successful in the workplace.

For over 100 years, Thalhimer has been a prominent business leader in CentralvVirginia and believes strongly in giving back to the community. Partnering with Goodwill is a natural fit to provide professional clothing for those that need a hand-up in re-entering the workforce or preparing for interviews. Both Goodwill and Thalhimer know firsthand the benefits to our economy of helping local job seekers prepare for permanent employment.

The program, called SUIT UP, entails collecting gently-used business clothing for the next five weeks at Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s corporate headquarters at 11100 West Broad Street in Short Pump. An external dropbox is on location and the community is encouraged to make donations.
