Working together strengthens communities.
Goodwill focuses on collaboration with key community partners to provide sustainability for the workforce programs we offer and holistic support for those that we serve.
Goodwill relies on the support of many partners in the community- we welcome an opportunity to share our mission with others and join forces to find even more powerful solutions for the sustainable vision of self-sufficiency and purpose for those that need us most.
If you donated, shopped, participated in a donation drive at an area school, mentored an individual in financial literacy, provided work experience for an individual with a disability, participated in our Business Advisory council, shared your meeting space with us or remembered our mission with your generous financial donation, you are our partner in building communities that work.
Our engaged partners include:
Capital One: grant funding for digital literacy programs, volunteer board of director representation, team building volunteerism
Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer: Suit Up donation drives, ongoing donation bins, real estate consultation, volunteer board of director representation.
Marriott Downtown Norfolk Waterside: job placement for individuals completing our Hospitality training program, meeting space and job shadowing
St. James’ Episcopal Church: mentorship for financial literacy, grant funding for goodChoice program
Men’s Wearhouse: Men’s suit donation drive for our prisoner re-entry program
Fleet and Family Service Center: job fairs and support services for our veteran population; serve on our Business Advisory Council
And our many philanthropic businesses, foundations and individuals that continue to partner with Goodwill in creating vision and providing solutions through financial support.
